“This vintage analogue synth from 1970/80 is in full working order. There were a number of faults which required attention. A number of ICs and a transistor were replaced. The whole synth was then re-aligned according to the instructions in the manual, using a digital oscilloscope. The whole system was then tested and is now working perfectly.#

The original manual is included

"Warehouse 605" – Hannett / JD / Dark style studio tracking & mixing

Published on Mar 27, 2017 SynthMania

“Tracking & Mixing a ‘dark’ song in the style of Martin Hannett / Joy Division / Bauhaus / Sisters of Mercy etc. of the late ’70s / early ’80s.”

Powertran Transcendent 2000 comes in at 2:55. This one isn’t too synth heavy, but it is fun to watch and the Transcendent 2000 was one of Martin Hannett’ main synths.

“Excellent synth, in great working order. Sounds amazing.
These were originally sold as a kit which you built yourself in the late 70s to Early 80s.

In good condition.. Scuffs and marks as you would expect from a synth of this age.

Only thing is that the base panel is missing! I bought it like this.. Works fine though and does not affect the workability of the synth!

“This one is as mint as you are likely to ever find. Works perfect, sounds amazing with a resonance that should have a warning on it – very powerful resonance on the tran 2000 filter. Wood work is in really good condition and all dials/sliders work as they should.”

"Il Fauno d’Argento" (Powertran Transcendent 2000 & ARP Omni-2)

Published on Dec 22, 2016 SynthMania

“I came up with a hypnotic arpeggio progression tonight and made this theme out of it. In the classic late ’60s / early ’70s tradition, but using a Transcendent 2000 and an Omni-2 instead of modulars on this one.”

“This fantastic British Mono synth was designed by Tim Orr of EMS. He was the chap behind some of the most classic and sought after early synths like the EMS synthi used by Pink Floyd

This was the first synth used by Joy Division / New Order and appears on there early tracks”
